About WLI

Women's Leadership Institute

Concordia University Wisconsin

Our Mission

The Women's Leadership Institute provides opportunities to grow in the unique gifts of leadership and character that God gives to women for service to Christ, the Church, and the world.  Its programs equip women and men to work as colleagues in service and leadership in the Church, home, community, and workplace.

Our Goals

  • Promote, cultivate, and provide educational opportunities for women to grow in leadership skills and character for service to Christ in the home, Church, community, and world.
  • Encourage research and thoughtful discussion as WLI explores the biblical and historical record of the service of women.
  • Provide resources to assist Christian women in fulfilling their servant leadership roles.
  • Recognize and encourage women as they use their God-given talents in the Lord's service.
  • Foster trust and respect between women and men as they work in harmony in God's kingdom.
